Blocking up

WARNING
!
For maintenance or repairs, the
riding mower may never be lifted
more than 50 centimetres from its
level position unless the following
precautions are taken:
1.
Empty the fuel tank and run
the engine until the
carburettor is dry.
2.
Remove the battery. (See the
part in the maintenance
section dealing with removal
of the battery.)
3.
Drain the oil from the
crankcase.
To raise the riding mower, lift using jacks and block
up with suitable stands. Block up in the following
way:
1. Position the riding mower on a level surface.
2. Lift the rear end with a jack placed under the
rear-axle gear.
3. Place two stands under the rear axle at the
inside of each rear wheel.
4. Lift the front end and place two stands under the
front axle beam at the inside of each wheel axle.
