ADJUSTMENTS
Adjust Ground Drive Belt
Tension
1. Park and prepare machine for service. See "Prepare
Equipment for Service" on page 1-13.
2. Measure spring length and compare to specification.

3. Loosen nut (1).
4. Loosen jam nut (2).
5. Turn nut (3) clockwise to increase tension on the
ground drive belt or counterclockwise to reduce
tension on the ground drive belt.
6. After proper tension is achieved, tighten jam nut (2)
and nut (1).

Adjust Brakes

1. Park and prepare machine for service. See "Prepare
Equipment for Service" on page 1-13.
2. Raise machine off of ground and support with
appropriate stands.
3. Remove wheel.

4. Engage park brake.
5. Measure spring (1) and compare to specification.
Spring Length
6. If spring is not to specification, release park brake.
7. Loosen jam nut (3).
8. To increase tension on park brake, turn nut (2)
clockwise or turn counterclockwise to reduce tension
on park brake.
9. Engage and disengage park brake to ensure smooth
operation.
