1. Follow Before Beginning Repair, page 36.
2. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure, page 22.
3. The control section of the heater can be repaired in
place. Remove the heater to clean the fluid section.

Pressure Transducers
1. Follow Before Beginning Repair, page 36.
2. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure, page 22.
3. Remove the access cover (39) at the back of the
control module to expose control board (406).
4. Disconnect the transducer cables from J3 and J8 at
the board. See F

connections and check if the status code follows the
bad transducer. See Status Code 3: Transducer A
Failure, page 31.
5. Reconnect the good transducer to the proper
connector. Disconnect the failed transducer from
the board, and unscrew from the base of the fluid
heater (heated units) or transducer manifold
(nonheated units).
6. Install the o-ring (60) on the new transducer (58),

7. Install the transducer in the heater or manifold. Mark
the board end of cable with tape (red= transducer A,
blue= transducer B).
8. Route the cable through the channel to the control
module.
9. Connect the transducer cable at the board; see F
14, page 42.
