7.4.3 Outer Band Install

Careful tightening of the clamping strip
- Outer band not twisted
- Install without forming any ripples.
Adhere to the tightening torques for screws according to section 7.1.
If replacing outer band only , do not remove top cover—remove end caps only.
•
Cut one end of the outer band according to dimensions below then
lay across the table as in the figure above. All outer band clamps,
carriage end caps and top plate should be removed. Once fit is estab-
lished, cut and punch the other end of outer band.
•
Each end of the outer band should have a slight gap against each end
block for the float in process.
