Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

LID MOTOR

Refer to page 4-14 for the procedure for servic-
ing the lid motors.
1.
Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2.
Disconnect the lid motor connector from
the chassis module at the appropriate
following connectors.
P406 (Upper Left)
P403 (Lower Left)
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4.
Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the lid
motor connector terminals. The meter
should indicate between 55 and 200 Ω.

WARNING
POWER RESISTOR & HEATER
Refer to page 4-10 for the procedure for servic-
ing the heater element assembly. NOTE: The
power resistor is part of the heater element
assembly.
1.
Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
2.
Disconnect the wire connector from the
CHASSIS HARNESS terminals on the
controller.
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4.
To test the power resistor, touch the
ohmmeter test leads to heater terminals 4
and 9. The meter should indicate between
25 and 35 Ω.
5.
To test the heater, touch the ohmmeter
test leads to heater terminals 6 and 9. The
meter should indicate between 23 and 29 Ω.
