Installing the Discharge Tubes

Parts needed for this procedure:

Upper tube
1
Lower tube
2
Hose clamp
Procedure
Important: Make sure that the mower deck is in
the lowest height-of-cut position while installing the
discharge tubes.
Note: Remember to replace the grass deflector when the
bagger is removed from the machine; refer to the blower
installation instructions.
1. Disengage the PTO and set the parking brake.
2. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for all
moving parts to stop before leaving the operating
position.
3. Lower the machine deck to the lowest height-of-cut
position.
4. Install the upper tube onto the curved tube that is
already connected to the blower hood and secure the
tubes with a hose clamp
5. Slide the lower tube into the upper tube
6. Secure the lower tube and upper tube with a hose
clamp.

7. Connect the tube assembly to the blower
8. Place the latch-bracket strap over the tube and secure
the tube to the blower with the latch hook
