MaNaGEMENT Database information is obtained from third party sources. Inaccuracies in the data may be discovered from time to time. Garmin communicates this information by issuing a Database Alert. These notifications are available on flygarmin.com. Garmin requests the flight crew report any observed discrepancies related to da- tabase information.
Key, provided a valid, verified standby database is present. In some cases it may be necessary to obtain an unlock code from Garmin in order to make the database product functional. It may also be necessary to have the system configured by a Garmin authorized service facility in order to use some database features.
