The Security Configuration menu provides information about various security settings. It provides access to
the Trust List File screen and the 802.1x authentication.

Description
Additional security options, which you control from Cisco Unified Communications
Manager Administration:
• Disabling PC port
• Disabling PC Voice VLAN access
• Disabling access to web pages for a phone
You can view current settings for the PC Port Disabled, GARP Enabled,

and Voice VLAN enabled options by looking at the phone Security
Configuration menu.
The Cisco Unified IP Phone can use 802.1X authentication to request and gain
access to the network.
Description
Displays the security mode that
is set for the phone.
Indicates if a locally significant
certificate (used for the
security features) is installed
on the phone (Installed) or is
not installed on the phone (Not
Installed).
The Trust List provides
submenus for CTL signature
and Call Manager/TFTP
Server.
Displays the device
authentication, EAP/MD5, and
transaction status.
To change
From Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Administration, choose Device > Phone > Phone
Configuration.
