Motor and Motor Belt
Warning:
Make sure to remove the plug from wall outlet before any attempt to remove the motor.
Removal:
1. Remove the free-arm extension table and all the covers.
2. Loose the motor belt tension adjustment screw (A).
3. Remove the handwheel (B) and the belt (C).
4. Remove the en d housing so cket screws (D) with the nuts and washers.
5. Pull up the light switch (F), removing it.
6. Cut off the plastic loop (E).
7. Disconnect wire by pulling the bonding jumper (G) apart.
8. Remove the screws (H).
9. Remove the motor with the switch and socket.
Replacement:
1. Replace these parts the same way as described above, but in a reverse order.
2. Use a new plastic loop (E) to retain wires on place.
