Removal:
Remove the free-arm extension table, face plate and arm top cover, the bottom
1.
bed cover and rear cover.
2. Move all the levers to it's center positions and remove the knobs (B) by pulling it straight
frontward (2 knobs for models 2718, 2724 and 2730, and 3 knobs for models 2712, 2722
and 2732).
3. Loose the two screws (A), by turning them 3 times.
4. Turn the machine down placing the front cover upwards.
5. Loose the two screws (C), by turning them 2 times.
6. Remove the cushion and screw (D).
7. Remove from the front cover the switch (F) pushing it straight outwards. Then, remove
the switch frame (G) openning it throught the groove (H). Return the switch (F) into the
machine again.
8. Remove the front cover (E) by pulling it straight upwards.
Replacement
Replacement of this cover the same way as described above, but in a reverse

order.
