long texts will run from right to left in order
to display them fully.

Function buttons

The appliance has 3 to 5 function buttons
(depending on the model), using which
special additional functions and automatic
programmes can be selected and adjusted.

Briefly pressing them will activate the
function selected. Press and hold to leave
the selected function. "OptiMUM" will
appear on the display again.

Parts and operating controls
Note: The buttons are operated by gently
touching them with your finger. Wearing
kitchen gloves may impair the function of
the buttons. It is not possible to operate
buttons with objects (e.g. wooden spoon).
Rotary switch with
illuminated ring

The rotary switch is used to select the
required speed, start an automatic
programme or to switch the appliance
off. The integrated illuminated ring lights
up during operation. The appliance will
no longer switch on if there is an error in
appliance operation, if the electronic fuses
trip or the appliance has a defect, and the
illuminated ring will light up.
Settings
ü The setting ü has two different
functions:
Standard (M):
Instantaneous switching
at maximum speed/fast. Hold down
switch for the required duration.
With SensorControl Plus (A):
Automatic regulation of the duration.
After activating the automatic setting,
set the switch to ü and hold in
this position for a few seconds.
The switch will remain set to ü
and will revert back to y after the
automatic programme has ended.
The appliance is switched off.
