Pitch Lane
[Only Affects Pitch, Affects Sample Map]
Multisamples typically include many different samples, mapped across the keyboard. When you transpose the
OCTAVE
keyboard using the
buttons, for instance, it's not just the pitch that changes; different samples will be
selected as well. Sometimes, you may want the Pitch Lane to affect sample choice, as if you were transposing the
keyboard; other times, you may want it to only change the pitch, without affecting the sample choice. This parameter
lets you choose between the two options.
Only Affects Pitch: The Pitch Lane only affects the played pitch; it will not change the sample chosen by a given key.
Affects Sample Map: The Pitch Lane will act similar to transposing the keyboard, and may select different samples
according to the selected Multisample.
