Wave Sequencing 2.0
If
TEMPO
is On, you can set the basic length of the step as a rhythmic value, relative to the system tempo. The values
range from a 32nd note to a double breve (four whole notes), including dotted notes and triplets. This length is then
modified by x (Multiply Base Note by...), below.

Xfade (Crossfade) general notes
The Xfade (crossfade) determines the time it takes to fade into the next step. For example, Step 1's Crossfade
determines the time to fade between Step 1 and Step 2. In general, the Xfade time cannot exceed twice the duration of
the shorter of the two steps. The Fade-In and Out parameters, below, allow linear, equal-power, and custom crossfades.
Crossfades times can be set in either seconds or rhythmic values, depending on whether Timing Lane Xfade is set to
Time or Tempo. If Timing Lane Xfade is set to Off, all transitions will be abrupt and none of the Xfade-related
parameters will appear.

If Timing Lane Xfade is set to Time, you can set the length of the crossfade in seconds.
If Timing Lane Xfade is set to Tempo, you can set the basic length of the crossfade as a rhythmic value, relative to the
system tempo. The values range from a 32nd note to a double breve (four whole notes), including dotted notes and
triplets.

This appears if Timing Lane Xfade is set to Tempo. It multiplies the length of the Xfade Base Note.
Fade-In (Shape)
[Log, -99...-1, Linear, +1...+99, Exp]
This sets the shape for the next step's fade-in within the crossfade.
Log: the step will fade in quickly at first, and then move more slowly as it nears the end of the crossfade. To create an
equal-power crossfade, use Log for both Fade-In and Out.
Linear: the step will fade in steadily over the duration of the crossfade.
Exp: the step will fade in slowly at first, and then move more rapidly as it nears end of the crossfade.
Out (Fade-Out Shape)
[Log, -99...-1, Linear, +1...+99, Exp]
This sets the shape for the current step's fade-out within the crossfade.
Log: the step will fade out slowly at first, and then move more rapidly as it approaches the end of the crossfade.
Linear: the step will fade out steadily over the duration of the crossfade.
Exp: the step will fade out quickly at first, and then move more slowly as it nears the end of the crossfade.
