Adjustments and confirmations on the Medalist x6000
system are performed often in order to keep it in peak
performance. Adjustments and confirmations are
automatically triggered within the Medalist x6000 by
events in the system, by an elapsed time interval or a
combination of those two factors. The events and time
intervals used to trigger adjustments and confirmations
have been determined by Agilent and are not user
configurable.
Any adjustment or confirmation that takes more than a few
seconds will notify the user that a task is running by a
dialog box and indicator bar (see Figure 10).
