After completing the electrical

connection, pull the connection cable
taut; however, avoid pulling too hard.
Check the position of the sealing ring R.

Attach the cover H with the screws G.

Screw in the screws G.
G
Ensure all seals and threaded
G
connections are correctly
installed.
Supply power to the electrical position
G
indicator.
Open and close the process valve
G
to check the switching positions. If
the switching positions need to be
readjusted, switch off the power to the
electrical position indicator.

4.10 Disassembly

Switch off the power to the electrical

position indicator.
Version with socket:
Disconnect the plug.
G
Version with terminals:
Lift cover H.
G
Remove the individual wires from the
G
terminal strip.
Remove the connection cable.
G
Remove the electrical position indicator
G
and mounting kit in the opposite order to
the assembly procedure (see chapters
4.1 - 4.9).

Servicing

The operator must carry out visual
G
examinations regularly.
Version with terminals:
Regularly check that the individual
G
wires and connection cable are seated
correctly.

Cleaning

Never clean the electrical position
indicators with a high-pressure
cleaning device.
Otherwise, you risk damaging the
®
electrical position indicator.
Observe the protection class
G
(IP 65 acc. to EN 60529)!
Clean the electrical position indicator with
G
a damp cloth or gentle stream of water.

Disposal

Disposal of the individual components
should be separated by materials (materials
see below), circuit boards with electronic
components and travel sensor placed in
electronics scrap.
