• If you are installing an E or 310 megabyte fixed-disk drive,
install the IBM RT PC Extended ESDI Magnetic Media
Adapter in the slot determined by the J6 jumper setting in
Step 13, on page 2-32. If you need instructions for installing
the adapter, see "Installing Adapters" on page 3-7.
13. Replace the cooling fan assembly. See "Cooling Fan
Replacement" on page 2-6.
14. If there are other options to be installed, do so now, arid then
check out the system using Section 9, "Checking Out the
Option Installation" on page 9-1.
