The system cabling record provides a place to record the names of
the devices and the adapter or port to which you connected each
device. Carefully complete this record. You must have this
inform ation w hen you test the system (Setup Task 7, Section 1) and
when you install the operating system (setup Task 8, Section 1).
Study the ap p ro p riate sample record, and then do the following:
1. Record the cabling inform ation immediately after you cable
each device to the system unit.
2. As you connect (cable) each device to an adapter, note the slot
number the ad ap te r is in.

If more th an one adapter of the same type is installed, record
the name as many times as necessary.
