Important:
If you disable CANA on a port using the auto-negotiation-advertisements none,
or no auto-negotiation-advertisements commands, the port closes down until a
valid CANA setting is applied to the port. Resetting the device is not required for the setting
to take effect.
Configure 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet ports with Autonegotiation so that they operate
optimally for your network conditions. To use Custom Autonegotiation Advertisement (CANA),
you must enable Autonegotiation.
Important:
Avaya recommends that all ports that belong to the same MLT or Link Aggregation Control
Protocol (LACP) group use the same port speed. In the case of MLTs, the software does not
enforce this.
