F-2 Prepare UAS for Rear-Facing Use
1.
Pull Pad Off Corners of Child
Restraint
Pull the seat pad off the front
corners of shell.
2.
Unhook UAS
Unhook the UAS hooks from
behind the child restraint.
3.
Routing UAS
Insert the UAS hook through the
forward-facing belt path.
The UAS adjuster can be on either
side, but the belt should not be
twisted.

Reach under pad, pulling
UAS hook and adjuster
between harness guide and
buckle strap and out the
rear-facing belt path slot.
5.
Pull UAS Hook Across to
Opposite Side
Reach under pad and pull
the UAS hook across the
shell and out the rear-facing
belt path on opposite side.
UAS belt MUST be under
pad and behind buckle
strap as shown.
Do not place belt over
child's legs.
6.
Replace Pad Over
Corners
Make sure the UAS belt is
not twisted.
