C.1 Troubleshoot
Overview table
Most of the problems can be can be brought back to a loss of communication between the Master and the Slave.
Symptom
There's no "unique" desktop, 2 different desktops are
projected (superposed)
Note that this is because the master image is not taken
over by the slave (can be communication problem )
Image is displayed but not in stereo (with unique desktop i.e.
no superposition of 2 different images)
No image
(empty windows)
No image at all
Slave does not start
When In Mono in VR Workroom mode, the projector (the
Slave projector being selected) shuts down, no image, no
control ...

Check
1. RS232, Ethernet, DVI
connections
2. use "ping" and "ipconfig"
to check communication
3. firewall settings
4. desktop integration
settings
5. restart the Barco Desktop
Service
1. Image generator
1. input connections (if layer
1 is used on the master, layer
1 must be used on the slave)
2. cables
3. polarisers present and in
good state ?
4. stereo glasses
1. input connections
2. cables
1. projector(s) in standby
1. RS232 connection
1. connect to the Master
via the web client and select
Dual lamp mode, or restart
the slave (power ON)
