Factory settings

Introduction
The VR Workroom system is factory pre-adjusted i.e. most of the settings are already defined.
In general these settings will never have to be changed. However, in case of a malfunctioning of the system it can be interesting to
check if none of these settings has be changed. Depending on the symptom one or the other of these settings may be suspected :

Desktop integration settings

Desktop integration settings
The settings for the Master Slave communication settings are foreseen in the Barco Desktop integration configuration.
This window is filled in for both projectors during factory setup. Depending on the projector considered (Master or Slave), the settings
will be different.
The Slave properties can only be filled in on the Master :
Mode : depending on the projector one has to tell what the projector is configured as : Slave in VR Workroom , Master in VR
Workroom, Mono in VR mode ...?
Computer name : the name of the computer (iCon Server). By default the name is set as VRslave for the slave (and VRmaster
for the master iCon Server)
Master as slave source : the physical input at which the master is connected to the slave, by default L3 DVI.
Baud rate : the baud rate for the RS232 communication between Master and Slave. The value must be the same as the baud
rate set on the Slave projector (see projector's owners manual).
RS232 address : the RS232 address of the Slave projector. By default this should be 2.
The value must be the same as the address set on the Slave projector (see projector's owners manual).
On the slave projector the Slave properties are greyed out i.e. only the Mode can be set (to Slave ...).
