The speed of the boiler pump is not calculated and not controlled. The output of the
speed matches the parameterized maximum speed.
Demand
The speed calculation for the boiler pump depends on the consumers planned for
on the plant and the present, applicable requests as well as speed requests.
Note: Only consumers active on the same controller are considered. On systems
with multiple controllers in LPB link, the speed output for the boiler pump by
demand is not ideal.
Boiler temp setpoint
The function reduces the pump speed until the requested boiler setpoint is
reached.
Pump speed is calculated so that the boiler pump speed can be reduced to the
permissible minimum only after the boiler is at full output.
Temperature differential nominal
The function control pump speed to maintain the parameterized nominal differential
between boiler flow (B2) and boiler return (B7).
Burner output
With this function, the speed of the boiler pump depends directly on the boiler's
current output.
The boiler pump is maintained at the minimum speed if the boiler output is less
than 20%. The maximum pump speed is achieved as soon as the boiler output is at
or greater than 80%. The boiler output is attenuated to calculated the speed.
Using these settings, minimum and maximum limitation of the pump speed is
provided.
