39. Check for the following:
• Loose adapters and cables in the system unit
• Incorrect switch and jumper settings on new options
• Interrupt level or DMA channel conflicts between options
• Power at wall or other electrical outlets.
Did you find a problem?
Yes. Go to the next step.
No. Go to Step 45.
40. Correct any problems you found. Plug in all power cables to wall
or other electrical outlets, go to Step 2, and retry the Options
Installation Checkout.
41. Turn the power off to the system unit and all connected devices.
42. Unplug the system unit and connected device power cords from
wall or other electrical outlets.
43. Check for the following:
• Loose fixed-disk drive adapters and cables in the system unit
• Incorrect switch and jumper settings on fixed-disk adapters
and drives
• Interrupt level or DMA channel conflicts between options.
Did you find a problem?
Yes. Go to the next step.
No.
Go to Step 45.
