9-6 Options Installation
1. Unlock the system unit by turning the key counterclockwise.
2. Get Diagnostic Diskette 1 (DIAG-1) from the pocket in the back
cover of IBM RT PC Problem Determination Guide; if the notch
on the diskette is covered by a tab, remove the tab.
3. Open the diskette drive (the top drive in IBM 6150), and remove
any diskette.
4. Turn on the power switches of all devices attached to the system
unit.
5. Turn on the system unit power switches, and immediately
insert (use the top drive in IBM 6150) the Diagnostic Diskette 1
(DIAG-1) label side up. Close the drive.
6. Is the green power-on light on?
Yes. Go to the next step.
No. Go to Step 32.
