Printhead removal

1.
Remove toner cartridges.
2.
Remove exit tray cover. See
3.
Remove transfer belt and photoconductor units. See
"Transfer belt removal" on page
Warning: Cover the photoconductor units with a scratch-resistant material to reduce light exposure.
4.
Remove system card support shield. See
5.
Remove fuser cable cover. See
6.
Remove three mounting screws (A) from front of printhead.
Warning: Secure printhead when removing printhead alignment screw. Failure to do this will allow
the printhead to fall out of the printer, potentially damaging the printhead.
7.
Remove printhead alignment screw (B) and remove printhead.
