UPS/BYP Button Operation
Below outlines the operation of the UPS/BYP button. Note: the button
must first be pressed when START is displayed for the following op-
tions to be available.
When the UPS is in BYPASS mode, the UPS button is displayed.
1. To switch the UPS to Online operation, press the UPS button.
2. The UPS icon changes to an Hourglass for 3 seconds. The control
button is disabled while the hourglass is displayed.
The same delay occurs when switching from UPS to BYP.
3. After the hourglass icon clears the BYP icon is displayed. The
UPS is in Online mode.
4. To put the UPS back into Bypass mode, press the BYP button.
The hourglass will display as in step 2, then the button will display
the UPS icon.
