HDD and SSD Storage Devices

HDD and SSD storage devices can only be installed in models with an Expansion Layer.

HDD and SSD storage device details are provided below.

Storage Device Considerations
For a storage device that is not an OMRON NY000-A£££ consider the following:
• OMRON is not responsible for the operation, performance or write life of any storage device other
than those supplied by OMRON.
• Test and measure the environmental performance of the intended storage device before actual op-
eration, using the SMART monitoring feature of the selected storage device.
• Ensure the temperature and vibrations of the storage device are within the operating temperature
specifications and vibration specifications during actual operation.
• Using a storage device with maximum power consumption exceeding 2W is not advised. Ensure
that the SMART monitor features of the storage device are used to detect overheating.
