Note: If a hardware failure results in the failure of the entire active LPAR, you must restart of workload
on the backup LPAR to use the PowerHA Cluster High Availability function. In addition, during a
planned failover, the workload is quiesced on the active partition and then restarted on the passive
partition. This causes disruption in the workload.
