Installing and removing an M.2 module

M.2module
Your device has two slots for M.2 modules:
On the mainboard (standard)
On the front panel module (optional)

Installing the M.2-module on the mainboard

► Open the casing (see
► Remove the boards (see
► Insert the M.2 module (b) at a slight angle in the direction of the arrow
(1) into the slot (a) on the mainboard.
► If the screw for retaining the M.2 module is located on one of the associated
stud bolts on the mainboard, remove the screw.
► Secure the M.2 module onto the mainboard with the screw (2). In doing so, select
the stud bolt appropriate to the length of the module.
