Setting of the reference input level
Turning the LEVEL control clockwise lowers the
reference input level and the sound volume
becomes higher.
Turning the LEVEL control counterclockwise
increases the reference input level and the sound
volume becomes lower.
Deactivating channel operation
The LOCK button is used for prohibiting a
misoperation.
LOCK button
Press the LOCK button. The LOCK button indicator
lights in red and the channel operation section is
locked.
To clear the lock status
Press the LOCK button so that the button indicator
goes off.
Note
Control operations on the SIU-RM101 are linked with
the MIC AMP menu operation of the SIU-100/100T
and also via the computer control operations. Thus,
when settings are changed by these operations, settings
on the SIU-RM101 are also changed.
Channel number display
The following two methods are available to display the
channel number.
• Slot number and channel number display
The selected slot number and channels 1 to 8 of the
selected slot are displayed.
• Serial number display
Channel numbers of the microphone inputs of the
DMBK-S101s inserted into the SIU-100/100T are
displayed consecutively.
This display method is selected on the SIU-100/100T.

on the SIU-RM101 (option) " on page 122.
Slot and channel number display
Consecutive number display
When an RS-422 communication error has
occurred
When an RS-422 communication is disconnected,
"422 Error" is displayed on the channel number
display window.
The following causes are possible:
• Connectors may have been disconnected.
• The connecting cable may be broken.
• The power of the SIU-100/100T may have been
turned off.
The display returns to normal when the causes of an
error is remedied.
