Menu Operations
To operate the DO CH STATUS submenu
1
Enter the DO CH STATUS submenu by displaying
it on the LCD.

Select the slot and channel.
Move the cursor using the B and/or b button(s)
and specify the slot number and then channel
number using the +/– buttons or ten key pad.

Select either ORIGIN or DESTINATION using the
V and v buttons.
The cursor moves to the next mode selection area.

Select either THRU or EDIT using the +/– buttons.
When THRU has been selected
Data assigned to the selected channel is
automatically displayed in the status information
display area.
When EDIT has been selected
You must to enter information. To enter
information, proceed as follows.
1 Move the cursor to the status information
display area by pushing the b button.
2 Move the cursor using the B and/or b button(s)
and change the characters using the ten key pad
or the +/– buttons.
If you change one character among the 4
characters, the unit enters the character enter
mode and the status information display area
blinks.
For detailed information on how to enter characters
using ten key pad or the +/– buttons, see step 4 of
"Storing a scene" on page 108.
3 Push the ENTER button after completing
character entry.
The setting is executed and the status
information display area stops blinking.

To perform settings for another channel, move the
cursor to the upper row by pushing the B button
and repeat steps 2, 3 and 4.

Automatic setting of the channel status
information
Information other than ORIGIN and DESTINATION
is automatically generated based on the operating
criteria of the SIU-100/100T.
• Validity flag
For the output to which the digital signal input is
routed, information from the digital signal input is
copied. When the routed input signal is analog and
there are no informations to be copied, "0" is output
when the PLL of the unit is locked. If the PLL is not
locked, "1" is output.
• User bit
For the output to which the digital signal input is
routed, information from the digital signal input are
copied. When the routed input signal is analog and
there is no information to be copied, "0" is output.
• Sampling frequency
The sampling frequency at which the SIU-100/100T
is currently running is set.
• AUDIO mode
For the output to which the digital signal input is
routed, information from the digital signal input is
copied. When the routed input signal is analog and
there is no information to be copied, the mode is set
to PROFESSIONAL.
• Emphasis
For the output to which the digital signal input is
routed, information from the digital signal input is
copied. (Audio is also routed as it is). When the
routed input signal is analog and there is no
information to be copied, emphasis is set to OFF.
