• Turn off the power of each device before attempting
to make any connections.
• Connect the AC power cord last.
About footnotes in the connecting diagram
a) When microphones which use +48 V power are
connected, be sure that the total current of the
microphones connected to each DMBK-S101
should not exceed 40 mA.
For details, see "Note on +48 V power
consumption " on page 99.
b) Set the mode of both MADI boards connected to
the SIU-100/100T and DMX-R100 to MADI.
In this connection example, the BNC type of MADI
connectors is used to connect the DMBK-R109
inserted into the SIU-100/100T and the one inserted
into the DMX-R100.
c) When an SIU-RM101 is connected to the SIU-100/
100T, be sure to connect the MIDI signal to the
MIDI connector of either the SIU-100/100T or the
SIU-RM101.
d) When connecting a personal computer directly to
the Ethernet connector of the SIU-100/100T, use
the cross cable.
When connecting a personal computer to the
ethernet connector via hub and so on, use the
straight cable.
e) Up to 7 SIU-RM101s can be used in cascade
connection.
About connecting cord
In the connection example, connecting cables to be
used are as follows. In the diagram, cables are
numbered 1 to 5.
