4. Advanced Features
This section describes:
Setting User Options
User Options control a variety of features. You may want to read through the procedure that begins at
right before actually performing it, so you can consider how you want each option set.
To set or change options, press FUNCTION and then press 5 and YES. Follow the steps shown. The (Y)
or (N) indicates how each option is currently set.
Hint : Print the Options List to check your option setting before changing them, or to verify your
settings (see page 33).

Your Response
Press YES to allow transmission of documents of
unlimited length (up to 60 minute maximum transmission
time per page). Press NO to limit the page length to a
maximum of 59 inches.
Press YES if you want your fax unit to print your Terminal
ID message at the top of each page sent.
Press YES to print the Terminal ID over whatever is at the
top of your sent documents. Press NO to add space at the
top of each page for the printing of the Terminal ID
message.
Press YES if you want to print an RTI (Receive Terminal
Identification) message at the bottom of each page you
receive. This message consists of your local date and
time, page number, and your Terminal ID.
Press YES if you want your fax unit to print out a
Message Confirmation after each transmission.
