1-4-2 How to Enter Your ID
When you enter your Terminal ID, use the key Pad to enter numerals. Press REDIAL/PAUSE to enter a
space.
To enter the letters for your company name. press the One-Touch keys from one to four times. The chart
on page 8 shows how many times to press each One-Touch key to produce a specific character.
To begin entering your ID :
• To enter your ID immediately after setting the time, press YES when the Window reads "SET TERM
ID?". Then follow the steps at right.
• To enter your ID starting from standby mode, press FUNCTION, them press 0. Press NO when you
see SET DATE & TIME. Respond to "SET TERM ID?"by pressing YES. Follow the steps at right.

Your Response
Use the One-Touch keys (as described on page 8)to type
your company name. Use REDIAL/PAUSE for spaces and
the Key Pad for numbers. When the correct character
appears in the Window, press * on the key Pad to confirm
i t .
When you've finished, press YES. If you make a mistake.
use NO to backspace to the error, or press STOP to cancel
the operation and start over.
Use the Key Pad to enter your fax unit's telephone number
(up to 20 digits). Use the REDIAL/PAUSE key to insert a
pause after the area and exchange codes, as shown.
When you've finished, press YES. If you make a mistake,
use NO or backspace to the error, or press STOP to
cancel the operation and start over.
Press NO. You can read the "Polling" section (page 29)
and set up your poll code at another time. If you already
know your poll code, use the Key Pad to enter it, just as
your fax number.
