3-4-1 Storing Numbers
Instead of manually dialing numbers, you can use the One-Touch keys and two- digit Speed Dial
numbers to quickly dial numbers that have been programmed into your SF 2200. You can store up to 100
telephone numbers of up to 34 digits each.
Each number entered is called a " location."Locations 01 through 10 are assigned to One-Touch keys.
Locations 11 through 99 and 00 are assigned to Speed Dial numbers.
To begin entering numbers, press FUNCTION, then 3, then YES. Follow the steps at right.
Hint :
Whin you've finished, print the Location Number list to verify how all of your One-Touch and
Speed Dial numbers are set (see page 33).

3-5-1 Delaying Transmission
You can program your SF 2200 to send a loaded document at a later time, unattended. This allows you to
send documents at night, when telephone rates ate lowest and the receiving fax is least likely to be tied up.
To program a delayed transmission.
• Load you document.
• Adjust the resolution and contrast if needed.
• Press FUNCTION, then press 1. Follow the steps shown st right.

Your Response
Use the Key Pad to enter the two - digit location to which
you want to assign a telephone number. Then press YE S.
(If the Window then says "CANCEL?" a number is already
assigned to that location. Press YES to replace that number
and continue, or NO to start over with a different location.)
Use the Key Pad to enter the telephone number. You can
use any key on the Key Pad, including the * and the # keys.
Pressing REDIAL/PAUSE between two numbers adds a 3-
second pause, displayed as a P in the Window. When
you're finished, press YES.
If you want to identity the entered telephone number with a
name, use the One-Touch keys to type the name, just as
you did when you entered your Terminal ID message.(For
help with typing letters, see page 8.) You can enter up to 20
characters. When done, press YES
Enter another location number, or press NO to stop with the
number (s) you've entered so far. After entering your final
number, press NO.
