(3) Saving data to compact flash memory
Procedure for saving data in compact flash memory:
Setting of an output destination
a)
Press the 4 SET key on the scan test screen, and set "CF (text)" or "CF (binary)" for
"External output" on the parameter setting screen.
Setting of a data number
b)
An arbitrary number can be assigned to scanned data by setting the number for "Data
No." on the parameter setting screen. The data number (Data No.) is incremented each
time data is saved.
Saving of sense test data
c)
If the 13 OUTPUT key is pressed while a scan test is stopped on the scan test screen,
data from scan testing can be saved to a compact flash memory card.
The file name of saved data is determined as follows:
B 1 2 3 0 4 5 0 . 0 0 1
Scan test date
Scan test month month: A, B, and C stand for October, November, and
December, respectively.
Save format: T stands for text format; B stands for binary format.
Confirmation of data saved

Press the 12 CF button. The screen will be switch to the CF control screen shown in
Figure 3-17 where you can check whether data has been saved. On the CF control
screen, you can also display the thumbnail images of saved data, read/delete
data, and initialize the compact flash memory. For details, see "Section 3.7 CF
Control Screen."
Data No.
Scan test time: The first 2 digits indicate hours; the last 2 digits
indicate minutes.
