Press through the opening in the display back cover (1) and separate the leather cover (2) away from
the back cover until the cover rests behind the computer.
8.
Position the computer with the rear panel toward you.
NOTE:
The rubber screw covers removed in the following step are different in size and shape. Make note
of which rubber screw cover was removed from which cavity.
9.
Remove the rubber screw covers (1) and (2) that conceal the display back cover screws.
NOTE:
The rubber screw covers are included in the Mylar/Rubber/Tape Kit, spare part number
L38695-001.
