9. Enter the time period and press 'Execute'.
a The command execution display confirms successful execution of the
command by displaying
a The 'Section' is isolated for the selected duration.
The adjustable duration may be limited, depending on the country.
The duration of the 'Isolation' may be changed subsequently.
An unlimited 'Isolation' can be temporarily limited, and vice versa.
Polling the switching-off time
If a 'Area', 'Section', 'Zone' or 'Detector' level is temporarily isolated, you can poll
the remaining isolation time at the 'Station'.
1. Press the 'Isolations' tab.
a The 'Isolations' event list opens.
2. Highlight the list entry for an isolated level for which you wish to poll the
remaining isolation time.
3. Press <'Options'> in the event command list (ECL).
a The 'Select option' dialog window opens.
4. Select the 'Execute commands' menu item.
a The 'Select command' dialog window is displayed.
5. Select 'Show remaining off time'
a The remaining isolation time is shown.
Expiry reminder for temporary switching-off
An expiry reminder is displayed prior to the expiry of temporary isolation. You can
configure how long before a temporary isolation the reminder is displayed in
'SintesoWorks'.
The expiry reminder must be configured in 'SintesoWorks' > task card 'Operation'
> 'Global system configuration' > 'Global behaviour' > 'Details' tab.
