Activating an alarm indicator (AI)

You can activate an ↑ alarm indicator, e.g., to check the geographic assignment of
a detector. This function is of use for the commissioning or maintenance.
Activate alarm indicator
w You are logged onto at least 'Access level' 2.1.
w You are in the 'Topology' dialog window.
1. Press 'Lower level' in the 'Detection tree' list entry.
a All 'Areas' in the 'Detection tree' are displayed.
2. Press 'Lower level' in an 'Area' list entry.
a All 'Sections' in this 'Area' are displayed.
3. Press 'Lower level' in an 'Section' list entry.
a All 'Zones' in this 'Section' are displayed.
4. Press 'Lower level' in an 'Zone' list entry.
a All 'Detectors' in this 'Zone' are displayed.
5. Highlight a 'Detector'.
a The highlighted list entry is displayed with a bright background.
6. Press 'Execute commands' on the dialog window toolbar.
a The 'Select command' dialog window opens.
7. Select the 'Activate alarm indicator' command.
a The command execution display confirms successful execution of the
command by displaying
a The alarm indicator is activated.
