Installing and Replacing Network Interface Cards

If you are replacing a NIC with a new NIC of the same type, the Nokia
IPSO operating system automatically recognizes the NIC and applies the
original configuration to the new NIC.
If you are installing a new or different NIC, configure the new NIC by

Configuring and Activating Interfaces

The Nokia 500s appliance automatically detects any new NICs when the
PMC carrier is completely installed. Use Nokia Network Voyager to
configure and activate the logical and physical interfaces on the card.
