Abbreviations used in this manual

In this manual:
AN = transmitters with the analog outputs option board
IS = transmitters with the intrinsically safe outputs option board
CIO = transmitters with the configurable input/outputs option board

Transmitter installation procedures

To install the transmitter, the following procedures are required:
Install the transmitter – see Chapter 2
Wire the transmitter to the sensor – see Chapter 3
Wire the transmitter outputs:

For Model 1700 or 2700 AN transmitters, see Chapter 4.

For Model 1700 or 2700 IS transmitters, see Chapter 5.

For Model 2700 CIO transmitters, see Chapter 6.
