Polling a Remote Machine
1
Lift the handset or press
OHD, and enter the
number of the remote
machine.

When you hear a fax tone
from the remote machine,
press MENU.

Press 03, POLLING, on
the one-touch keypad.
The LCD asks if you want
to enter a Poll code.

If the remote machine is
secured with a Poll code,
you must enter the proper
code. Select Ô1:ONÕ by
pressing 1, or by using

Then, enter a 4-digit code.

If the remote machine is
not secured with a Poll
code, select Ô2:OFFÕ by
pressing 2, or by using

Press ENTER.
Your machine starts to
receive the document
from the remote machine.
