6.4 Troubleshooting - If [Mishandled paper] Message Is Displayed

Turn Knob [FS8] to draw out the vertical
alignment plate of the stacker.
% Locate the vertical alignment plate
within the range indicated by the ar-
row in the illustration.
The lamp flashing in the jam position dis-
play will go off.

Hold Handle [FS9] to return the stacker to its original position,
then close the finisher front door.
% If the vertical alignment plate is in the position to cause interference with the machine, the stacker
will be locked and cannot be returned. Turn Knob [FS8] to release the lock, then return the stacker
to its original position.

Check that the message is no longer displayed in the message area of the screen.
