The following table describes some of the drives you can install in each bay
and their height requirements.
Bay 1 -
Maximum height: 40.6 mm (1.6 in.)
Bay 2 -
Maximum height: 40.6 mm (1.6 in.)
Bay 3 -
Maximum height: 25.4 mm (1.0 in.)
Bay 4/5 -
Maximum height: 40.6 mm (1.6 in.)
Bay 5/6 -
Maximum height: 40.6 mm (1.6 in.)
Bay 7/8 -
Maximum height: 40.6 mm (1.6 in.)
Bay 8 -
Maximum height: 25.4 mm (1.0 in.)
Bay 9 -
Maximum height: 25.4 mm (1.0 in.)
Notes:
1. Install removable-media drives in bay 1.
2. Only one diskette drive is supported.
3. Bays 4, 5, and 6 support either three 25.4 mm (1.0 in.) drives or two
40.6 mm (1.6 in.) drives.
4. Bays 7, 8, and 9 support either three 25.4 mm (1.0 in.) drives or two
40.6 mm (1.6 in.) drives.
