11. Software Version Upgrade Method

2. Connection
Open the left side panel. There are an RS-232C port, an 8pin-PLD connector and a rotary switch.
Choose an appropriate terminal and setting of the rotary switch according to each description.
3. Rotary switch setting
0: Default (Operation mode)
1: Write Camera u-com
2: Communicate with Camera u-com
3: Write Servo u-com
4: Communicate with Servo u-com
5: Write VTR u-com
6: Communicate with VTR u-com
7: Write AUDIO/LCD u-com
8: Communicate with AUDIO/LCD u-com (1)
9: Communicate with AUDIO/LCD u-com (2)
A: Communicate with AUDIO/LCD u-com (3)
E: Write Camera FPGA
F: Write VTR FPGA
4. Software version-up procedure
<CAM SOFT (OUT)>
1. Connect a PC and AJ-SDX900 with an RS-232C cross cable (9P-9P).
2. Set the rotary switch to 1 position.
3. Turn on both PC and AJ-SDX900.
4. Execute 'K96_Cam_W.bat' so that version-up program starts.
5. Erase, Write and Verify are automatically performed.
6. If a communication error occurs, check the rotary switch setting and the power on both PC and
Camcorder.
7. When it is completed, press any key to quit the program.
8. Turn off the PC and Camcorder.
9. Remove the RS-232C cable and return the rotary switch to 0 position.
