Actuator Connection Bypass Instructions

1. Remove the three mounting screws securing the rear shroud to the wheelchair frame.
2. Remove the rear shroud from the wheelchair.
NOTE: The elevator actuator is marked with a tag reading "Elevate".
3. Disconnect the elevator actuator form the actuator controller connector.
NOTE: The power bypass connection requires 12 to 24 Volts DC to operate the actuator. This 
bypass is intended for use by service technicians in the event that the on‐board batteries have been 
depleted beyond charging and require replacement, or for the original installation of the batteries.
Connect the external power source ONLY to the elevate actuator connector.
Connecting the external power source to the actuator controller connector will
damage the controller.
4. Connect the external power source to the elevate actuator connector.
