POWER UNIT

Removal of the power unit

Note: To remove the cylinder head, remove
the power propulsion unit.
For removal of the cylinder head, cylinder
and piston, see the workshop
manual:
• 50cc engine. Horizontal cylinder.
• 50cc engine. Cast iron cylinder. Fluid
cooling system.
- Remove the storage compartment. See:
Procedure 1. page 20.
- Remove the lower fairing by sliding it
towards the rear of the vehicle (1 screw).
- Drain the cooling circuit. See chapter:
page 37.
- Disconnect:
• The magneto (1).
• The starter motor (2).
• The suppressor (3).
• The choke (4).
• The temperature sensor (5).
- Disconnect:
• The throttle control (6).
• The fuel inlet pipe (7).
• The oil supply hose (8).
• The vacuum pressure hose (9).
• Disconnect the cylinder head hose (10).
• The pulsair reed valve hose (11).
