POWER UNIT

Removal of the power unit

Note: To remove the cylinder head, remove
the power propulsion unit.
For removal of the cylinder head, cylinder
and piston, see the workshop
manual: 2-valve, 50cc 4-stroke
engine.
- Remove the storage compartment. See:
Procedure 1. page 19.
- Remove the lower fairing by sliding it
towards the rear of the vehicle (1 screw).
- Disconnect:
• The magneto (1).
• The starter motor (1).
• The choke (1).
• The suppressor (2).
• The carburettor heater (3).
- Disconnect:
• The throttle control (4).
• The fuel inlet pipe (5).
• The vacuum pressure hose (6) (Pulsair).
• The vacuum pressure hose (7) (Fuel pump).
• The pulsair reed valve hose (8).
• The rear brake control cable.
