Wide Range This field is available on GS1900- 8HP ( Revision B1) and GS1900- 10HP only.

Select whet her t o enable a wider det ect ion range for t he PD or not .
The Swit ch det ect s whet her a connect ed device is a powered device or not before supplying
power t o t he port . For t he PD det ect ion, t he Swit ch applies a fixed volt age t o t he device and
t hen receives ret urned current . I f t he ret urned current is wit hin t he I EEE 802.3AF/ AT
st andard range, t he device will be considered as a valid PD by t he Swit ch.
However, in real cases, environm ent al int erferences m ight easily cause t he ret urned current
out of t he st andard range. This field displays En a ble if t he Swit ch applies a wider range for
PD det ect ion. Ot herwise, it displays D isa ble .
