Port
Displays t he port index num ber.
St at e
Displays which port s can receive power from t he Swit ch. You can set t his in t he
Con figu r a t ion > Por t > PoE Edit screen.
D isa ble - The powered device ( PD) connect ed t o t his port cannot get power.
En a ble - The PD connect ed t o t his port can receive power.
Class
This shows t he power classificat ion of t he PD.
This is a num ber from 0 t o 4, where each value represent s a range of power ( W) and
current ( m A) t hat t he PD requires t o funct ion. The ranges are as follows.
Cla ss 0 - Default , 0.44 t o 12.94
Cla ss 1 - Opt ional, 0.44 t o 3.84
Cla ss 2 - Opt ional, 3.84 t o 6.49
Cla ss 3 - Opt ional, 6.49 t o 12.95
Cla ss 4 - Reserved ( PSEs classify as Class 0) in a sw it ch t hat support s I EEE 802.3af
only. Opt ional, 12.95 t o 25.50 in a swit ch t hat support s I EEE 802.3at .
PD Priorit y
When t he t ot al power request ed by t he PDs exceeds t he t ot al PoE power budget on t he
Swit ch, you can set t he PD priorit y t o allow t he Swit ch t o provide power t o port s wit h higher
priorit y first .
Cr it ica l has t he highest priorit y.
H igh has t he Swit ch assign power t o t he port aft er all crit ical priorit y port s are served.
M e diu m has t he Swit ch assign power t o t he port aft er all crit ical and high priorit y port s
are served.
Low has t he Swit ch assign power t o t he port aft er all crit ical, high and m edium priorit y
port s are served.
